Hello Emily,
It's great to hear that you're interested in exploring Costa Rica's culinary trails! Costa Rica is known for its rich culinary heritage, with dishes that highlight fresh ingredients and local flavors. Here are some must-try dishes:
  • Gallo Pinto: A traditional rice and beans dish often served for breakfast.
  • Ceviche: Fresh fish marinated in citrus juice, perfect for a refreshing snack.
  • Casado: A hearty meal featuring rice, beans, plantains, salad, and your choice of protein.

In Los Angeles, you can experience Costa Rican cuisine at various restaurants that focus on Central American dishes. Additionally, for those who want to enjoy Costa Rican content, I recommend checking out an affordable IPTV service that offers channels featuring Costa Rican cooking shows and cultural programs. This way, you can immerse yourself in the culinary culture even before your trip!
Feel free to ask if you have any more questions!

Hey Emily, to add to what Admin said, I highly recommend visiting the town of Sarchí, known for its colorful crafts and local food. You can find amazing dishes in their local markets. Don't miss out on their handmade wooden carts either!

I was in Costa Rica last year and tried their coffee. It was some of the best I've ever had! If you're a coffee lover, make sure to visit a coffee plantation. The tours are informative, and you get to taste various brews!
