What are some must-try Turkish dishes in Los Angeles and IPTV recommendations?

Post by Emily Johnson »

I've recently become fascinated with Turkish cuisine but I am not sure where to start. Can anyone recommend some must-try dishes in Los Angeles? Also, I've heard that there are some great IPTV channels featuring Turkish shows and movies. Any recommendations on that front as well?

Hello Emily,
Welcome to the forum! Turkish cuisine is indeed a delightful journey of flavors. Here are some must-try dishes you should seek out in Los Angeles:
  • Kebabs: Seek out places like Gürkan Şef for amazing lamb and chicken kebabs.
  • Döner: You can't miss the döner kebab. Try My Doner for a delicious experience.
  • Pide: This Turkish flatbread can be found at Cafe Istanbul, and they have a variety of toppings.
  • Baklava: For dessert, visit Baklava House for some of the best baklava in town.

On the IPTV side, if you want to explore Turkish channels, I recommend checking out an exclusive IPTV streaming service that offers a great selection of Turkish content. Enjoy your culinary adventure!

Hi Emily! I can totally relate to your fascination. If you’re into sweets, you should definitely try Kunefe. It’s a delicious dessert made with cheese and crispy dough, soaked in syrup. Also, don’t forget about Meze, which are small dishes perfect for sharing!

I love Turkish food too! If you're near Westwood, check out Turkish Cuisine. They have a fantastic Iskender Kebab. As for IPTV, I recently found a service that has great Turkish dramas and movies. Super helpful!

Those are excellent recommendations. Kunefe is definitely a crowd-pleaser and the Iskender Kebab is a classic! For IPTV, if anyone is interested in a reliable source, I recommend checking out the exclusive IPTV streaming service for a comprehensive selection of Turkish content. It’s perfect for enjoying those dramas and films at home!

Thanks for the tips! I recently tried the Pide at Cafe Istanbul, and it was fantastic! Do you guys know any places that serve a good Turkish coffee? I want to try the authentic version.

Great suggestion, Emily!
Turkish coffee is a must-try for its unique preparation and taste. Another spot is Turkish Coffee House in Glendale, known for its authentic brews. Don't forget to enjoy it with a piece of baklava!

I've heard that drinking Turkish coffee is a whole ritual. Can anyone share how it's traditionally served? I think it would be fun to learn about it.

Absolutely! It's typically served in small cups, and the grounds settle at the bottom. You should never stir it after it's poured. It’s often accompanied by a glass of water to cleanse the palate.
