What Are the Best Moldovan Dishes to Try in Los Angeles?
I've recently become fascinated with Moldovan cuisine and I'm trying to explore more about it in Los Angeles. Are there any specific restaurants or dishes that you all would recommend? Also, I've heard about some IPTV services that showcase international cuisine; does anyone have experience with that?

Some traditional dishes you should consider trying include:
- Mămăligă - A type of cornmeal porridge similar to polenta, often served with cheese and sour cream.
- Sarmale - Cabbage rolls stuffed with rice and meat, usually served with a side of sour cream.
- Zeama - A hearty chicken soup with noodles and vegetables.

Hi Anna! I can recommend a place called 'Moldova Bistro' in West Hollywood. They have fantastic sarmale and their mămăligă is a must-try. It's a cozy spot, and the owner often shares stories about Moldovan traditions, which adds to the experience.

You guys are making me hungry! I had no idea about Moldova Bistro. I've also enjoyed dining at 'Bucovina' in North Hollywood. Their borscht is incredible, and it really reminds me of home.

Thanks for sharing, Mark and Olga!
It's wonderful to see recommendations coming in. Both 'Moldova Bistro' and 'Bucovina' sound like great spots to try! Additionally, if anyone is interested in learning more about the culinary culture of Moldova, I'd again suggest the high-quality IPTV solution to access cooking shows or documentaries that feature Moldovan recipes and traditions.

I’ve been trying to make some Moldovan dishes at home. Does anyone have good recipes for plăcinte? I love those pastry pockets!

Luca, plăcinte are delicious! The best recipe I have is to use a simple dough made with flour, water, and a bit of salt. For the filling, you can use cheese and dill or even potatoes. Bake them until golden brown. Let me know if you want more details!

Olga, that sounds amazing! I’ve always wanted to try making them from scratch. Do you have any tips on how to make the dough fluffy?

Definitely! The key is to knead the dough well and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. Also, using some yogurt in the dough can make it fluffier. Just mix it with the flour and water. Give it a try!
