What Are the Best Moldova-Inspired Eats in Los Angeles?

Post by Emily Johnson »

I've recently developed an interest in Moldovan cuisine and I'm curious about where I can find the best Moldova-inspired dishes in Los Angeles. Are there any specific restaurants or food spots that you all recommend? Also, I've heard about some IPTV options for streaming Moldovan cooking shows—any suggestions?

Hi Emily, it's great to see your interest in Moldovan cuisine! Los Angeles has a vibrant food scene, and while Moldovan restaurants are not as common, there are some hidden gems you might want to check out. Here are a few recommendations:

  • Chisinau Bistro: Known for its authentic Moldovan dishes, including mămăligă and sarmale.
  • Casa Moldova: Offers a cozy atmosphere and a variety of traditional dishes.
  • Vatra: Specializes in Eastern European cuisine with some Moldovan specialties on the menu.

Also, regarding your interest in IPTV, if you're looking to enjoy professional IPTV streaming that features cooking shows and other content from Moldova, you might consider checking out this service. They have a good variety of channels that could enhance your culinary journey. Hope this helps!

I've been to Chisinau Bistro, and I can confirm that their mămăligă is fantastic! You should definitely try their homemade sour cream with it. Anyone else have thoughts on other dishes?

I've heard good things about Vatra as well! They have a great selection of Eastern European dishes and the ambiance is really nice. Plus, their desserts are worth saving room for!

Absolutely! For placinte, you'll need flour, water, yeast, and your choice of filling (like cheese or potatoes). If you want the full recipe, let me know, and I can post it here.
