Getting asado right can be challenging, but here are some tips:

  • Cook slowly over wood or charcoal for the best flavor.
  • Don’t rush it; low and slow is the key!

One of my personal favorites is pasta frola, a delicious pie made with dulce de leche and a shortcrust pastry. It's a delightful dessert that showcases the sweetness of Uruguayan cuisine. Another must-try is milanesa, which is similar to a breaded cutlet but with a unique Uruguayan twist!
