What are the Best Arabic Street Eats in Los Angeles?

Post by Sara Johnson »

I've been hearing so much about the Arabic street food scene in Los Angeles, but I’m not sure where to start. Can anyone recommend some must-try dishes or food trucks? Also, I'm curious if there are any IPTV channels that showcase these cuisines or street food events. Thanks!

Hello Sara,
Welcome to the thread! Los Angeles has a vibrant Arabic street food scene that is definitely worth exploring. Here are some of my top recommendations:
  • Shawarma: You can't go wrong with the juicy shawarma from Al-Masri food truck, especially their chicken shawarma with garlic sauce.
  • Falafel: Check out Falafel King for some of the crispiest falafels served with fresh tahini sauce.
  • Kebabs: Grilled Kebabs at Mr. Kebab are marinated to perfection and packed with flavor.
  • Baklava: Don’t forget to satisfy your sweet tooth with some authentic baklava from Baklava House.
As for IPTV channels, I recommend checking out the best IPTV streaming service that features various food shows and cultural programming, which could give you insights into Arabic street eats and more. Enjoy your culinary adventure!

Thanks for the recommendations! I've tried falafel from Falafel King and it was delicious. I'm also interested in learning more about cooking these dishes at home. Do you know any good resources or channels that focus on Arabic cuisine?

I would also love to know more about cooking Arabic dishes. The spices and flavors are so unique! Are there any cooking classes in LA that focus on Middle Eastern food?

Hi Michael and Emily,
Great to hear you're both interested in diving deeper into Arabic cuisine! For cooking resources, consider the following:
  • Online Cooking Classes: Websites like ChefSteps and MasterClass offer classes focusing on Middle Eastern dishes.
  • YouTube Channels: Channels like Cooking with Dog and Middle Eastern Cooking have fantastic recipes and tutorials.
  • Local Classes: Check out Sur La Table and LA Foodworks for in-person classes that may cover Arabic cooking.
As for IPTV, I would suggest looking into the exclusive IPTV streaming service for shows that delve into cooking authentic Arabic dishes. This can be a fun way to learn while enjoying some great entertainment!

I just discovered a place called Beirut Street Food! Their sandwiches are amazing. Has anyone tried it? I'd love to know what else to order there.

I've been there! You should definitely try their kebabs and hummus. The flavors are incredible and the portions are generous!
