I’m planning a little gathering with friends to try making some Costa Rican dishes at home. Any tips?

I’m back! I found a place in LA that serves Costa Rican food. They have Gallo Pinto, and it’s pretty authentic! Anyone else tried any local places?

Thanks for the recommendations, Sofia and Admin! I personally love completo, a Chilean-style hot dog. It's topped with avocado, mayonnaise, and sauerkraut. Does anyone know if there's a show that features street food in Chile?

Yes! The seafood rice was out of this world! It had such a rich flavor. I also enjoyed the plantains. They paired perfectly with the dishes.

I checked out 'Taste of Central America' and it was amazing! I got to try so many different dishes. I hope they continue to include more Panamanian food in the future.

I recently visited 'Panama Gourmet' and was blown away by their seafood dishes. The flavors are vibrant and really remind me of my trips to Panama. Do you know if they have any upcoming events or special menus?
